Setup.inf file:

ProgramGroup 0 or 1 create/not create startmenu group
DesktopIcon 0 or 1 create/not create desktop icon
ShellExtension 0 or 1 register or not shlext.dll – avira shell extensions
Guard 0 or 1 start or not antivir guard
MailScanner 0 or 1 install and start or not MailAcanner. Since most of us use online mail services I set it to 0
ShowReadMe 0 or 1 show or nor readme when install finish
RestartWindows 0 or 1 restart windows when install finish
ShowRestartMessage 0 or 1 show or not restart message if RestartWindows=1
ScanMode 0 or 1 start scan when install finish
CopyConfig – undocumented/reserved – I think is used when Upgrade=1 to copy or not settings for old install –
Upgrade – undocumented – I think is used to upgrade an existing install
DestinationPath – used to specify path to program files folder (ex: C:Program Files ) – the rest AviraAvira Desktop are added by setup itself –
– installer will add from %programfiles% env variables
KeyFile full path to keyfile
– do not add yourself – installer will add from where extraction before install
AVWinIni – optional – full path to file Avwin.ini – use to preconfig avira – be care – seem that current avira versions fails somethimes when is used
SetupMode= Update or Modify – used only at second install – not need at first time install –
– Update: Updates an existing installation. In this case configuration parameters, for example Guard, are ignored.
– Modify: Modifies (reconfigures) an existing installation. In this case no files are
copied in the destination path.
